What have the Ny's been up to?

The debate will begin in 6 minutes....so lots of pictures, very few words.

Molly's soccer game last week. Scott getting the Unicorns pumped!

A Friday morning with Jack and Becca. I love them. They played together so sweetly. (Except when she kept knocking his towers over. He was good about it when we made it a game.)

Working hard. He loves to build. Loves it.
All dresses and ready to go get Molly from school. They are great together.

After quiet time (Becca's nap). Here she is going after a passie.
Molly and Jack were very quiet yet seemed to have lots of fun!!!!
Having fun with Daddy. This was a rare night he was home recently.
Becca watching.

We went to the pumpkin patch last weekend. Becca loved the pumpkins and playing in the dirt.

We were watering the grass Sunday trying to get our seeds growing. Molly and Jack thought it would be fun to run in the sprinkler. It was warm, but not that warm....

Debate is starting, gotta go. Hope you are watching too!

10 minutes

In 10 minutes my chocolate chips cookies will be ready and I will then retreat to my TV room and wait for SNL. Can't wait. Ever since Sarah Palin became a VP candidate, SNL has been on top of their game. But, then, she makes it easy for them....

We have been busy, VERY stressed out, and worried. I know everyone is worried about the credit crisis, but when your livelihood is in the financial world, you really worry. Not knowing what Wachovia is going to do has been another big stresser. Scott got a call Friday from his partner Brett at 6:30 am to tell him Wells Fargo was buying ALL of Wachovia. Scott started dancing a jig in the kitchen!! It was the funniest and happiest thing ever. It was like a weight lifted off his shoulders and I could see the relief in his face immediately. I'm not saying we or anyone is out of the woods yet, but it's a little better for us, for now.

Molly and Jack have been busy in school. Molly went to the State Fair Thursday with her class. She had a blast and talked about it for hours. She meet a "...beautiful brown horse..."at the fair and now has decided she wants one for Christmas. She just doesn't understand why "they" don't allow horses to live in the city. So tonight she told her grandfather Bruce, who was here for dinner, that her mommy and daddy were giving him a horse for his birthday that he could keep at his farm and she would name it and ride it for him!

Jack loves school and all his friends. He is going to a birthday party tomorrow for a classmate and is so excited. He doesn't go to school on Fridays and I really cherish the time I have with him those mornings. This Friday we read books, worked 2 puzzles, made Lego towers (that Beccasaurus tore down) and went on a walk. It was a great morning and we both enjoyed it. It's also nice that Jack gets alone time with Becca. He is very sweet and gentle with her.

Becca is crawling, if you call it that. It's the oddest way to get around, but she manages fine. She can go from her tummy or back to a sitting position. She is saying Momma, Dadda, utt-oh!, and starting to say dog. She is 10 months and 2 weeks. I can't believe it.

My cookies are ready and I am tired. I have lots of pictures to post and will do that tomorrow. :)
